Johannes -
I was definitely not implying that this is a better idea than mathematical
rereferencing to linked ears (which is the MUCH easier idea to implement).
But, if you really want to physically linked ears and achieve a balanced
reference, balancing the impedance of the two ear contacts will influence
the outcome.
