When you say readses.m, are you referring to my code for reading ERPSS
files into Matlab? If so, it doesn't care about how each channel was
referenced. I expect the issue has more to do with whether the bipolar
channels will covary (with respect to the higher moments) properly with
the other channels, which is what ICA is looking for when it removes
the blinks. I would think that the presence of bipolar channels would
not be a problem for this algorithm since blink activity in the EOG
channels would still have a linear relationship to blink activity in
other channels. Unless there is some problem with assumptions about
referencing in the EEGLAB code.
