[Eeglablist] On EEG spectrum

Dear All,

I am a beginner on EEG data analysis. Recently I want to know some precise spectrum range of EEG signal. Some say it is from 1-20Hz, and others declare it from 1-50 Hz. Which one is more appropriate?

Can anyone provide some papers or links on this topic?
