[Eeglablist] interpolating bad electrodes

Dear Scott and EEGlist:

Here I have a question related to the interpolating bad channels.
If, for one subject, the cap was put on slightly differently,
for example, the electrodes were rotated across two sessions. (e.g.
see the figure),
Is there an transform using less then 3 parameters to determine the
electrode position for constructing a "motion correction" algorithm to
reduce the cross session variability?
I think using standard electrode position for one session and
transform the other session would be fine for this purpose. Is there
any problem for this assumption?
Thanks!
