[Eeglablist] Exporting sleep stage annotations to EDF

Hi everyone,

I just started my research in EEG sleep analysis and I tumbled upon major
(beginner’s) problem.
I am working with Alice at 4 system. I recorded EEGs, visually scored the
sleep stages within Alice at 4 software and now I need to export EEG data for
further analysis. The software exports the data only to EDF format (no
ASCII option) However with exported EDF, I wasn't able to retrieve the
sleep stage annotations (Alice at 4 exports data to an old EDF format that
doesn't support these kinds of annotations). So my question is:
Is it possible and how to convert the binary .rsl data created with
Alice at 4 (Respiratonics) to ASCII, EDF+ or some other format that contain
sleep stage annotations.
