Research Officer

Neurophysiology

Level/Salary: HSU Level 4 $45,483 - $50,194 pa 

Position Number: 600295

Location: Graylands Hospital, Mount Claremont, Perth

Main Duties: Conducts neurophysiology/electrophysiology recordings and procedures, data processing and maintenance of databases. Manages bookings/scheduling. Carries out standard assessments.

Essential minimum requirements

  1.. Degree level tertiary qualifications in neurosciences, basic sciences or equivalent.
  2.. Experience conducting electrophysiological and/or neurophysiological recording, procedures and analysis.
  3.. Demonstrated ability to maintain computer hardware and software.
  4.. Demonstrated ability to maintain electronic equipment.
  5.. Demonstrated ability to write technical reports.
  6.. Demonstrated well-developed communication skills.
Desirable requirements

  1.. Experience conducting electro/neurophysiology recordings and/or procedures including EEG, TMS, TCD, PPI.
  2.. Basic knowledge of neuroanatomy.
  3.. Familiarity with structured assessments.
  4.. Experience working in a mental health or similar setting
  5.. Familiarity with standardised assessment instruments.
  6.. Current C or CA Class driver's licence.
