PhD-Student Position (E13) in Neuronal Networks Group

A PhD-Student Position (E13, formerly BAT IIa) is vacant at the Department of 
Computer Engineering, Faculty of Information and Cognitive Sciences, University 
of Tübingen.

The candidate should have a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical 
Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Neurology or a comparable academic degree. 
Practical knowledge in object-oriented programming (C++, Java, MATLAB) is 
required. Knowledge in neuronal nets, machine learning, signal processing, 
Brain-Computer-Interfaces and neurology is highly desired.
The candidate will be integrated in an interdisciplinary ERC project 
investigating bidirectional brain-computer interfaces. The project is embedded 
in the neuronal networks research group offering support and a modern working 
environment.

We can offer a fixed-term E13 (formerly Bat IIa) contract. Preference will be 
given to disabled persons possessing equivalent qualifications. In the
