[Eeglablist] Do I need OpevVibe to run eeglab?

I finally installed EEGLAB version 11 with my matlab 2012 versionAnd now I've just read that you need OpenVibe to document real time EEG data.. and that EEGLAB only translates the already existing data that is in EDF format.Is this true? Is eeglab not a realtime mapping software???
