[Eeglablist] ICA artifact?

Does ocular correction using independent component analysis (ICA) cause
methodological artifacts in high frequency bands like +60Hz gamma? If so,
would these artifacts create false positives on phase synchrony measures
when liberal statistical significance thresholding is adopted?
