I think if we consider the output of pop_spectopo as pow_value then we can get the absolute vale as abs_value=10.^(pow_value/10); Arno- Please correct me if I have missed anything here!

Hi,

I'm trying to use the EEGLAB time-frequency analysis. I'd like to look at 'absolute power', not 'dB'. EEG provides an
optional input called 'outputformat' which can be set to provide 'old 'output in 'absolute amplitude'.

However, my problem is that when I enter the code 'outputformat', 'old', it gives me an error:
??? Error using ==> mpower
Matrix must be square.
I do not know why.
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards,
