[Eeglablist] Same spectra/ERSP for different components in Study

EEGLABlist,

I’m running a study and am getting an unusual data glitch. At the study level when looking at component clusters, sometimes I will have components from two different subjects that will show identical spectra and ERSPs, although the dipoles show different locations. I’ve gone back to the individual data files to verify that the component spectra and ERSPs are not the same, and have also looked at the study info page where you load the data files to verify that I didn’t mis-name something or load the same dataset twice. When it happens, it always seems to be two components that are right above/below each other on the “Select component to plot” list when I have selected my cluster of interest.

However, if I select Parentcluster under the “Select cluster to plot” list, then find the two components I am looking at, the spectra and ERSPs appear to be different from each other.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or know what to do about it? I’m running EEGLAB 2023.0 on Matlab 2023b.
