Hello

I am a starter in EEG.

I recorded some data from a 32 channel EEG machine using 10-20 system and 21 electrodes, 256 Hz sampling frequency, 16 bit resolution and obtained a '.eeg' file. Then I converted this binary file into a text file (32 channels + 1 channel for marked events = 33)

I am confused that the output I am getting as columns of data are channel outputs(including the bipolar and external DC) or values of each electrode. Which is more useful and usually used in EEG analysis channel values or electrode values.

How Can I validate the output values {in microvolts got by equation uVs = (Read Value)/3.93216 {Calculated from the ADC used]} using some analysis software. I tried to load the .eeg file into eeglab but wasnt a success.

Please help me to know that my conversion of file is correct. I am attaching the file and its converted text for your reference.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
