<p class="MsoBodyText3" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="en-US">I would like to introduce you a new plugin for the rejection of EOG artifacts from EEG/MEG signals. This
plugin for EEGLAB implements the new methodology, proposed in [1]
namely REGICA. <br></span></p><p class="MsoBodyText3" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="en-US">REGICA is an automatic methodology for EOG Artifact
Rejection. REGICA assumes that the artifactual Independent Components
(ICs) extracted by a BSS method include more ocular and less cerebral
activity than the contaminated EEG signals. We thus propose to apply a
regression algorithm to the ICs rather than directly to the recorded
signals. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText3" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="en-US">So
according to the REGICA Methodology, the contaminated EEG/MEG signals
should be decomposed using a BSS method and then only the contaminated
IC’s should be further filtered.</span></p>
