<div dir="ltr">Hi Roma,<div><br></div><div>Sampling is a fundamental concept in EEG data acquisition (and any sort of data which requires recording a continuous, analog natural signal as digital data on a computer), so I would recommend you read up on this issue to understand it well. Luck (2005/2014; <a href="http://mitpress.mit.edu/books/introduction-event-related-potential-technique">http://mitpress.mit.edu/books/introduction-event-related-potential-technique</a>) is a great introduction. You can also find a lot of information on this online, for example if you Google "sampling rate and time" there are several relevant links that describe the relation between time and sampling rate, e.g. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sampling_(signal_processing)">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sampling_(signal_processing)</a></div><div><br></div><div>Best,</div><div>Steve</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><br><br></div>Stephen Politzer-Ahles<br>New York University, Abu Dhabi<br>Neuroscience of Language Lab<br><a href="http://www.nyu.edu/projects/politzer-ahles/" target="_blank">http://www.nyu.edu/projects/politzer-ahles/</a><br></div></div></div>
