<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div>Hello Imtiaz,<br><br></div>The data are in the field EEG.data; for instance, if you have epoched data for one participant then this field is a 3-dimensional matrix (channels x samples x trials). You can work directly with the raw numbers any way you see fit (for example, choosing a time window and a subset of trials to average over if you want to statistically analyze mean amplitudes), directly in MATLAB or after exporting them into e.g. Excel or something like that; you can check the book by Luck (2005/2012) for a more detailed discussion and recommendations about how to quantify ERP waveforms.<br><br></div>If you're working with multi-subject STUDY data and/or spectral data as well as spatiotemporal data, the underlying logic is similar---you can extract the numbers from the appropriate field of the MATLAB structure and manipulate them however you need.<br><br></div>I believe the ERPLAB toolbox and similar add-ons also provide a lot of built-in functions for data quantification, which you could explore.<br><br></div>Best,<br></div>Steve<br></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><br><br></div>Stephen Politzer-Ahles<br>New York University, Abu Dhabi<br>Neuroscience of Language Lab<br><a href="http://www.nyu.edu/projects/politzer-ahles/" target="_blank">http://www.nyu.edu/projects/politzer-ahles/</a><br></div></div></div>
