Does anyone know of any correlations between epoch length and dipole residual variance? My most recent study has been plagued by higher residual variances (most >20%) than previous studies using similar stimuli and response procedures. The only difference is

 the epoch length, which has increased from 5 to 6 seconds. I'm skeptical that this would cause some issues with residual variance, but I'm running out of ideas to try and figure out what is at the root of the problem.<br>
