Our detailed assessment of cognitive, behavioural and social cognitive function in ALS points to significant disruption in extra-motor systems in some patients. This project will combine high resolution structural and dynamic imaging of the brain at 3 Tesla and spectral EEG/ EMG with clinical and genomic data to identify sub-clusters of ALS patients. Using robust mathematical models and building on key imaging and signal processing signatures we will develop observed-independent, quantitative markers of disease that can be utilized to generate disease clusters. These clusters will then be further analysed based on discriminatory clinical, neuropsychological and genomic data.<br><br>The detailed job description file (PDF) and the application instructions can be found online at <a href="http://jobs.tcd.ie">http://jobs.tcd.ie</a>. <br>------------------------------------<br>It would be really appreciated if you could share this with those that may be interested.<br><br></div>Sincerely<br></div>Bahman<br><br><span><div dir="ltr"><span><span><span><span><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)"><span>––––––––––––</span></span><span><span><span><span><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)"><span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)"><span><br></span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)"><span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>Bahman Nasseroleslami<br>Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Research Fellow<br>Academic Unit of Neurology, School of Medicine</span><br><span style="color:rgb(61,133,198)">Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin</span><br><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)">Dublin 2, Ireland.</span><br><br><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)">Room 5.43, Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute<br></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)">152-160 Pearse Street, Dublin D02 R590, Ireland.</span><br></div><div dir="ltr"><span style="color:rgb(61,133,198)"><a href="mailto:nasserob@tcd.ie" target="_blank">nasserob@tcd.ie</a>, <a href="mailto:nasseroleslami@gmail.com" target="_blank">nasseroleslami@gmail.com</a><br><a href="http://www.tcd.ie" target="_blank">www.tcd.ie</a></span><br><br><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)">Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin is ranked 1st in Ireland</span><br><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68)">and in the top 100 world universities by the QS World University Rankings.</span></div></span><br></div>
