The Institute of Psychology is looking for an University Assistant
with doctorate
<br>
(40 hours a week; fixed-term employment for the period of 6 years;
position to be filled as of October 2nd 2017 )
<br>
<br>
Your duties
<br>
• Collaborating with a team of researchers on experiments in
the area of cognitive psychology and neuroscience
<br>
• Independently conceiving and conducting projects using
behavioural methods (e.g. eye tracking) and / or brain imaging
techniques (e.g. fMRT or EEG)
<br>
• Participation in academic teaching and administration
<br>
• Advanced qualification (habilitation) will be supported.
<br>
• Publishing papers, applying for research grants
<br>
<br>
Your profile
<br>
• PhD (doctorate or promotion) in psychology or a similar field
Experience in cognitive psychology and/or neuroscience research
<br>
• Strong methodological and statistics background
<br>
• Experience in writing and publishing papers
<br>
• Programming skills (e.g. Matlab)
<br>
• Persistence and responsibility
<br>
• Enjoying experimental research
<br>
• Organizational talent and ability to work in a team
<br>
• Working knowledge of German
<br>
