Dear colleagues,<br>
We'd like to bring to your attention the Call for Papers and
Abstracts to the 9th International IEEE Brain-Machine Interface
Systems Workshop (BMI'19) and BR41N.IO BMI Hackathon, co-located
with the IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and
Cybernetics. The Workshop will be held in Bari, Italy, from
October 6-9, 2019. Full-length papers (4-6 pages, +2 at a fee) can
be submitted by April 14 to one of 13 Special Sessions, listed
below, or to the regular BMI/neurotechnology track. Late-breaking
Research Abstracts (1-2 pages) can be submitted by May 12 to
<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:falk@emt.inrs.ca">falk@emt.inrs.ca</a>. <br>

In addition to presented papers and posters, the BMI'19 Workshop
will feature a brain hackathon with over $3k in prizes, an
industry panel on <i>Next-Generation Neurotechnologies and the
Role of Industry and Industry-Academia Partnerships in their
Development</i>, a mentorship session for students, a hands-on
demo session, several IEEE Brain-sponsored Student Travel Awards
and a BMI Best Paper Award, and several keynote and invited
speakers. We would appreciate if you could help spread the word
and looking forward to seeing you in Bari in October!<br>
