[Eeglablist] downloading eeglab

Hi ,
Im new to eeglab, I have been using Neuroscan for aquisition and offline 
editing of data however for my next study I'm going to use Biosemi setup and want 
to try EEGLAB to run analysis of my data- I have downloaded the files into 
Matlab and placed eeglab in directory where i have set a path.  This is the first 
path on set path list so should be ok- when i put in eeglab at the matlab 
prompt I just get a message with = ans, has anybody encountered this problem?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
