[Eeglablist] discontinuities introduced by ICA?

Hello everybody,
I am a beginner in ICA. Removing artefacts components is doing by
setting to zeros the artefacts components and reconstructing the
signals from the remaining ones. Can this lead to discontinuities in
the whole reconstructed data if you apply ICA decomposition to data
segments?
