[Eeglablist] Post-doc and PhD positions - electrophysiological assessment in coma - University of Liege, Belgium

A PhD position (funded for 3 years) is available as part of a European Commission Marie Curie Research Training Network "DISCOS - Disorders and Coherence of the Embodied Self". 

 

A post-doc position (funded for 3 years) is available as part of a European Commission Specific Targeted Research Project "MindBridge - Measuring Consciousness - Bridging the Mind-Brain Gap".

 

The candidate will be based at the Cyclotron Research Centre and Neurology Dept, University of Liège. The work will primarily involve event-related potentials and EEG assessment of conscious processing and neuronal plasticity in severely brain damaged patients (coma, vegetative state, minimally conscious state, locked-in syndrome). 

The successful candidate will be part of the "Coma Science Group"; a multidisciplinary team assessing disorders of consciousness using behavioral, EEG-fMRI, PET and MEG methods and will be involved in multiple EU network collaborations. 



Minimum qualifications are having a strong peer-reviewed publication record; demonstrated expertise in acquisition and analysis of EEG and ERP; and speaking and writing English fluently.
