[Eeglablist] ICA problem

Hi, everyone,
  I have a question on ICA: whether the ICA can be used on a long epoch data, for instance, my epoch data is from -1000ms to 5000ms. I wonder whether the ICA will be stable to analyse these kind of data. I have tried to do dipoles and the result was not good, and the residual variance was large. Is it because that the to be analysed data was too long, so the ICA result is not stable as it applied to the short epoched data?
