[Eeglablist] 64 channel EEG - averaging channels

Hi All,

I record 64 channel EEG for my experiment (A problem solving experiment).

I have two questions:
If I want to consider only lesser number of channels, which would be the
best to do:

1.) A representative channel from each region - Is there any commonly used
list of channels.
2.) Can I average the channels over each region? - Is there any commonly
used grouping of channels available?
