[Eeglablist] ICA in multi-session experiment

Dear all,
I wonder if it were possible to perform a single ICA analysis ondata in 
case the same protocol is repeated at a number of occasions. As far as I 
know it is not advised in general because the electrode locations could 
be different. I would like to hear your opinions on the feasibility of 
using some sort of alignment of the potential field provided the 
electrode positions are co-registered. I am also looking forward to 
comments from those who believe that one can not really gain much with 
handling multi-session data this way.
