[Eeglablist] Does EEGLAB work with EMOTIV systems

Dear Josh and Scott

Yes indeed we will very soon release our software, which combines the
Emotiv EPOC headset with a smartphone (Android).

Our system (Smartphonebrainscanner2) dumps raw decrypted data into a binary
file and creates a corresponding meta file with different event information
specific for the actual experiment. For this we have python script to align
those two files and finally matlab code to load the continuous or epoched
data into EEGLAB.

However, the raw dumps come only from our system (i.e.
smartphonebrainscanner2). If you record the data directly through Emotiv
SDK it creates EDF files that can be easily loaded into eeglab without our
involvement.
I did try this at one point and as far as I remember I loaded the EDF files
using the BIOSIG plugin in EEGLAB, which worked quite well.

If you are interested in our project about combining wireless EEG with a
smartphone you can find some additional info here
http://milab.imm.dtu.dk/eeg or contact us directly.

Best,
Carsten
