[Eeglablist] Importing Ascii format data

Dear All,
I am importing a ascii format data with 16 channels as input
The *import data set info window* ask for sampling frequency.I have filled
a 256.
anything should be filled for Time points per epoch?.Or it will adjust
itself.
Please clarify.
