RA position in the lab of Steven Pliszka and Joseph Blader

We are in the process of trying to hire an RA with previous ERP experience
at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (UTHSCSA).
We are seeking an individual with previous experience capping and using
BVA. This person will play an important role in our biomarker studies of
treatment response in children with ADHD over the next 2 years. These
studies examine ERP and fMRI markers of reward, emotion, and inhibition
processing; and attempt to link these neural indicators to variance in
treatment response. Training and supervision will be provided in fMRI
collection, design, and analysis, with oversight and additional training in
ERP collection and analysis. There should be ample opportunity to be
involved in research, potentially attending conferences and presenting as
well as being involved in manuscripts. We feel that this is a great
opportunity for a bright recent graduate who is looking to gain additional
research experience prior application for graduate school.
