[Eeglablist] Notch filtering

Hi,

We're currently using a Butterworth filter to remove the line noise from
EEG recorded in Europe (50 Hz). However, I'm not sure how wide the notch
filter should be? 45-55 Hz notch filter?

However, even with a notch filter for only 50 Hz I'm afraid of any phase
distortion in the adjacent frequency bands when we look at for example the
power between 40 and 50 Hz. Is there a better solution for this problem?
