Full-time research assistant position available at the Air Force Research
Laboratory

The U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory's Cognitive Models and Agents Branch
invites applications for a full-time research assistant to contribute to
research involving EEG and ERP measures related to fatigue and vigilance.
Prior experience with EEG data collection is required. Experience and
interest in EEG analysis preferred. Candidates with a strong interest or
experience in modeling are also encouraged to apply, but this is not a
requirement.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
EEG data collection, pre-processing, and analysis
Contribute ideas to lab discussion
Literature review

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive science, or related field.
Experience in EEG data collection.
Excellent writing & communication skills.
Motivated, independent, and enthusiastic!
Experience with Matlab and/or R desired.

The research assistant would have the opportunity to work on other projects
within the branch, including: (a) predictive models of learning and
forgetting; (b) decision heuristics; (c) interactive task learning; (d)
robustness; (e) simulations of fatigue and vigilance; (f) integrated models
of physiology, perception, cognition, and action; (g) autonomous teammates
and trainers, and (h) high performance and distributed computing for model
testing and validation.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent and upcoming graduates who want
to gain additional research experience before graduate school. The position
is located in Dayton, OH, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and would
start as early as June 2016. A 2 year commitment is strongly preferred.
