Birmingham ERP Boot Camp (3.0) 8-12 August, 2016
————————————————————————
Prof. Steven Luck and Dr. Emily Kappenman (UC, Davis) will be conducting the third UK version of their well-known ‘ERP Boot Camp' from 8 - 12 August of this year on behalf of the School of Psychology at the University of Birmingham, UK. Like the Davis ERP Boot Camp, the Birmingham Boot Camp (BBC 3.0) is based on their well-known book, "An Introduction to the Event-Related Potential Technique" (MIT Press). The first two Boot Camps (BBC 1.0, 2.0) were sell-out events and we are excited to be able to host their successor. Further details of the event and can be found by following the link below.

The ERP Boot Camp has been running for 7 years in the USA and taught many hundreds of people. It is an excellent opportunity for staff and advanced students to sharpen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The version Prof Luck will conduct at Birmingham will be a 'mini boot camp' comprised of 3 days of lectures followed by 2 days of practical ERPLAB Toolbox data-analysis activities conduced by Dr. Emily Kappenman. Accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis with a link on the Accommodation Tab of the BBC3.0 website (see above).

We are also very proud to announce that Brain Products, ANT Neuro and BlindSight GmbH, suppliers of advanced EEG devices, will be on hand to demo their devices and answer any questions. The BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council) is also sponsoring the event. More detail can be found by following the link above.

I would very much appreciate it if you would alert your colleagues and students to this opportunity by forwarding this email. There are a limited number of places so early registration is advisable at the Birmingham Online Shop accessible from the link provided above.

Thank you in advance,

Best regards
