[Eeglablist] EEG Research Assistant Position at Tufts

We are seeking a full-time research assistant to join the Integrative Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at Tufts University (http://tuftsiconlab.weebly.com/).  The position involves coordinating an interdisciplinary EEG project investigating human learning and memory, including how these cognitive functions can be improved using neurofeedback and measured using novel electrophysiological approaches.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in cognitive neuroscience, applied research, and the development of cutting-edge neuroscience technology. 

 The research assistant will be responsible for coordinating of all aspects of the project, including experimental programming, operation and administration of the EEG system, collection of EEG data from human subject participants, and data analysis.  Training in EEG data acquisition and analysis will be provided;  however, prior EEG research experience is strongly preferred.  

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

-BA or BS degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or related field

-Prior research experience (experience with human EEG strongly preferred)

-Computer programming skills (e.g., Python or Matlab)

-Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

-Superb organizational skills

-A two-year time commitment is requested
