I think I can help a bit more her. A1 and A2 are the old clinical designations for the ear lobe electrodes, which no one uses any more. If you have data from A1 and A2, they are undoubtedly the mastoid placement, better named M1 and M2. The mastoid location is close to 10-10 positions TP9 and TP10. I will see if I can find you a picture of them which I will send directly, since I do not think EEGlablist accepts images.
T7 and T8 are newer alternative designation for the original T3/T4, and also P7/P8 are newer alternates for the original T5/T6. That should clear things up for you I hope. A committee tried to get people to switch to the newer labels as they made more sense anatomically and numerically, but the industry has not adopted them in very many places.

Well, that's usually what one would do to find the channel location file when you are dealing with other systems than Natus I would say, as Jeff said they are just hopeless after my many contacts, and the previous posts on EEGLAB on it has been left un-resolved kind of in my knowledge. It has been a month that Im trying to solve this, the issue is the channel layout that I have based on the recorded data on Natus system looks like the layout shown on section "EEG25 - Minimum 10-20 configuration including inferior electrodes" of this link <http://wiki.besa.de/index.php?title=Electrodes_and_Surface_Locations> ( except P11 and P12, I dont have those). However, as for using a usual standard 10-20 file provided by EEGLAB, as you can see on the link provided above my montage is very different than the one shown on the channel location map of the usual EEGLAB standard 10-20, basically comparing these two maps I will be able to manually delete the extra channels from the standard 10-20 to create the Natus map, however as you can see on the link T7 and T8 are within the head and also the A1 and A2 electrodes for the ears dont exist on the eeglab standard 10-20 file (non cap of course).
I tried to look online for previous publications before too, the issue is this system is usually used within the clinical set up (in hospitals) and not for research much, and usually they dont need this information for clinical purposes as everything will be seen on Natus software itself. For research purposes however one must have the location file, but the issue is the number of recent works using Natus for research purposes are not that many, I tried to contact some of the old ones, but I have not heard back. My guess is someone out there within the eeglab community must have analyzed the EEG data recorded on Natus system at some point in time and dealth with this issue before, as their montage is not the usual standard 10-20 one available on eeglab and fieldtrip.
I would appreciate if you can let me know if you have any, any guidance on how to proceed from this point.

I would not waste any time trying to contact Natus. They are strictly a clinical company and will be clueless. Just use generic 10-20 coordinates, which you can get from many sources. Or just use the EEGlab defaults.

Hello Marj,
Two things you should try are :
Contact Natus customer support and look on their website.
Email researchers who have published using Natus data similar to yours, and/or that are currently using Natus systems. You should easily be able to find about ~10 different researchers, and one of them should respond to you.
Also....
You may need to build your own channel file at some point, see past eeglablist posts about that. You may also find some past eeglablist posts about Natus locations.
When you find a solution, please let the list know so other users can benefit from your experience. Also, please send eeglab developers a channel file when you have one so they can add it into eeglab.

Can anyone provide me some guidance on how to find the right channel location file for a standard 10-20 with 32 channels recorded on Natus system please? My guess is someone else in here might have dealt with processing the Natus EEG data previously for sure and therefore might already have the channel location file somehow?
