[Eeglablist] Basic FIR filter and SIFT

Hi All,    I have processed several datasets with EEGLAB tools' "Basic FIR filter (new, default)".  I used 0.5Hz lower edge and 50Hz upper edge followed by additional processing such as ICA.  I am now preparing to use this data with the SIFT toolbox for the first time.  I expect to look at Direct DTF, Partial Coherence, Complex Spectral Density, and probably other things too.  Is there an issue with the filtering method not being zero-phase (acausal)?    Thanks for any help.Davida
