[Eeglablist] does the newtimef function apply a two-pass filter (forward and backward) to the data?

I am starting to use the newtimef function for time frequency analyses.

I was wondering whather this function applies a one-pass (forward filter)
or a two-pass (forward and backward) filter to the data.
