Dear all
Want to share our latest publication on ear-EEG forward models with you.
S. L. Kappel, S. Makeig, and P. Kidmose, “Ear-EEG Forward Models: Improved
Head-Models for Ear-EEG”, Frontiers in Neuroscience, vol. 13, 943, Sept.
2019, doi https://doi.org/10.3389/fnins.2019.00943
The paper proposes a method to create improved individualized head-models
for ear-EEG.
In addition, the paper is the first to present recordings performed
simultaneously with high-density scalp EEG, dry-contact electrode cEEGrid,
and high-density dry-contact electrode ear-EEG (15 electrodes in each ear).
The result is high resolution topographic maps of the ears and head, used
for validation of the ear-EEG forward models.
An animated example of the topographic maps are available here:

The dry-contact electrodes are described in this paper:

De bedste hilsner / Kind regards
Simon
