[Eeglablist] Trouble with Study Designs

Hello all,

I have recently created a study with the intention to generate some
ERSP maps and I found that when I try to add variables to the study
design in order to do this, the screen I get is different from any
that I have seen in help sections that I have found on the web. On
top of that, when I select the "list Factors" option, I receive the
following error message

Dot indexing is not supported for variables of this type.

Error in std_limodesign (line 83)
catVar  = sort(find(cellfun(@(x)strcmpi(x, 'categorical' ), {
factors.vartype })));

Error in pop_listfactors (line 104)
    [~,~,des] = std_limodesign(allFactorsStruct,[], 'desconly', 'on',
'splitreg', g.splitreg, 'interaction',

Error in pop_studydesign (line 371)

Error using inputgui (line 218)
Error while evaluating UIControl Callback.

I suspect this step is what is impeding my ability to generate ERSP
maps, but I cannot find any help on how to fix this problem. I am
using matlab version R2018a and eeglab version 2019.0 Any help you can
offer would be much appreciated.
