[Eeglablist] Question about CORRMAP vs matlab corr function

Hello,

I just had a general question, is there an issue with using Matlabs's corr and corrcoef function to identify and remove components (https://www.mathworks.com/help/stats/corr.html / https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/corrcoef.html) instead of using the CORRMAP plugin? I see that the CORRMAP plugin use these two function; but, did not know if there was something else that CORRMAP did on top of these function to ensure/improve the correctness of identification or removal.
