[Eeglablist] Postdoc position in Cognitive Neuroscience available at TU Dresden/Germany

We are seeking an enthusiastic postdoc with a particular interest in the neuroscience of context-specific, goal-directed human behaviour. The postdoc position is supervised by Prof. Dr. Stefan Kiebel at the TU Dresden, Germany. Initial contract length 3,5 years.

The position is part of an interdisciplinary research collaboration, the CRC 940 'Volition and Cognitive Control' (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://tud.link/ylxq__;!!Mih3wA!TybomFZFCSYkaZfso60VDe1eEqeKV1ukl2E_zkTDuxZQ4k9_d4gf1FHkdiPFeO-DcWjOFw$ ), funded by the German Research Foundation.  The overall aim of the CRC is to identify the cognitive and neuronal mechanism that underlie the control of goal-directed actions and decision making. Within the CRC, the specific aim of our group is to take a fresh look at the role of context-specific action selection to enable fast and accurate decisions in dynamic and uncertain task environments.  The project will provide an excellent opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary environment of cognitive and computational neuroscientists, psychologists and physicists.

TU Dresden is one of eleven German Universities of Excellence and offers an interdisciplinary scientific environment. The Neuroimaging Centre at the TU Dresden (https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.nic-tud.de__;!!Mih3wA!TybomFZFCSYkaZfso60VDe1eEqeKV1ukl2E_zkTDuxZQ4k9_d4gf1FHkdiPFeO_LhzXVEA$ ) has cutting-edge infrastructure with 3-Tesla MRI, MRI compatible headphones and eye-tracking, several EEG systems, a neurostimulation unit including neuronavigation, TMS and tDCS devices.

The postdoc position is available at the next possible date. Subject to personal qualification, employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13.
