[Eeglablist] Error reading Micromed files

Attempting to read Micromed recordings I get an error: 'dot indexing is not supported'. See attached screen dump.

The line 1072 in EEG_checkset is assigning a value to a another ('EEG.chanlocs(1).ref = ref'). Seems legal to me.
How can I get around this?
