[Eeglablist] Postdoctoral position at Nottingham

I trust that you are keeping well.

I hope to be able to advertise a postdoctoral position here at Nottingham soon (once the paperwork is completed) and I will then be looking to recruit somebody with proven expertise in EEG/MEG recording and analysis and ideally experience with non-invasive brain stimulation too.

The project would focus very likely on the following topic areas:


  1.  The role of cross-frequency coupling of brain oscillations in the control of motor behaviour.
  2.  The effects of EEG/MEG phase on the efficacy of non-invasive brain stimulation.
  3.  Development of a ‘closed loop’ method for delivering non-invasive brain stimulation relative to the phase of EEG oscillations.

Studies are likely to include investigation of these issues with respect to both healthy young adult populations and in individuals with movement disorders.

I would be grateful if you could bring this information to finishing PhD students or postdoctoral scientists who may be interested in this post and have the requisite skills.
