POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE AT THE ALBERT EINSTEIN COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, NY
The Department of Neuroscience at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, is seeking a full-time postdoctoral research fellow to work on an NIH-funded project exploring the neural bases of chemotherapy-induced cognitive deficits in survivors of childhood leukemia. The project uses EEG-based and fMRI-based methodologies to understand the treatment-related cognitive dysfunction in children ages 5-12 years. The position is available starting in August 2023; the position is for one year with the possibility for renewal on a year-by-year basis through the term of the project.

Successful candidates will have a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related discipline. A strong background in cognitive neuroscience, EEG/ERP data processing, statistical analyses, and scientific writing is preferred. Programming experience should include the commonly used packages for EEG processing, such as Matlab. A strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to work independently is expected. Previous experience working with children in a research setting is a plus.
