Dear Francesco,

In the study interface, did you plot the ERSP of individual subjects? Given the same parameters, the study (menu STUDY > Plot channel measures, selecting "plotting individual subjects" in the right column) and the individual subject plots (menu Plot > Time-frequency transforms > Channel time frequency) should return the same results, since they are using the same newtimef function.

It could be that one subject has corrupted data, which alters the average across the subjects you were plotting. Focus on comparing the individual subject plots. If this is what you were already comparing, ensure that the parameters are the same.

Once you have a study, you can adjust the plotting frequency limits after precomputing the ERSP. If you are plotting the ERSP for a single subject (menu Plot > Time-frequency transforms > Channel time frequency), you need to use the‘freqs’ parameter.
