Dear colleagues,

I wanted to share a quick reminder that the deadline for full paper submissions for the IEEE SMC BMI Workshop is fast approaching! There are two Special Sessions that have been approved: (1) Recent Advances of Brain-Computer Interfaces (code: ns37m) and (2) BMIs in Telepresence and Immersive Reality Applications (code: 7xw2y). Any announcement of deadline extensions will be posted on the Workshop’s website (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://sites.google.com/view/smc-bmi-workshop2025__;!!Mih3wA!DGMVlquoctqwtcGFjqdBG5RpcAdXydV13RaLsCwDlIKSg6eBVnLvskzh7CVqMp5bHHTunZ2Hap2d8fdH0WBHK2l0iw$ ). Short papers will be due at the end of April. All accepted and presented papers show up on IEEEXplore as part of the SMC 2025 main conference proceedings (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.ieeesmc2025.org__;!!Mih3wA!DGMVlquoctqwtcGFjqdBG5RpcAdXydV13RaLsCwDlIKSg6eBVnLvskzh7CVqMp5bHHTunZ2Hap2d8fdH0WDH1HSaPw$ <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.ieeesmc2025.org/__;!!Mih3wA!DGMVlquoctqwtcGFjqdBG5RpcAdXydV13RaLsCwDlIKSg6eBVnLvskzh7CVqMp5bHHTunZ2Hap2d8fdH0WDEIFRynw$ >). We already have several confirmed speakers (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://sites.google.com/view/smc-bmi-workshop2025/speakers__;!!Mih3wA!DGMVlquoctqwtcGFjqdBG5RpcAdXydV13RaLsCwDlIKSg6eBVnLvskzh7CVqMp5bHHTunZ2Hap2d8fdH0WDKvhNUVQ$ ), and several special events (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://sites.google.com/view/smc-bmi-workshop2025/events__;!!Mih3wA!DGMVlquoctqwtcGFjqdBG5RpcAdXydV13RaLsCwDlIKSg6eBVnLvskzh7CVqMp5bHHTunZ2Hap2d8fdH0WBBc_mSEA$ ), including some hands-on demo sessions.

Looking forward to your submissions and to seeing you in Vienna, Austria in October!

Best regards,
