[Eeglablist] re-referencing when online reference is a scalp channel

Just keep the 5Z channel. Throwing it away is just losing data
unnecessarily. From an electrical engineering point of view, the
recording reference isn't any different than any of the other
electrodes. It's just a matter of which one you've arbitrarily chosen
to serve as the reference (to define zero voltage). Although I'm not
familiar with the ANT system, so it's possible there are hardware
idiosyncracies involved.

I am now pre-processing the data in MATLAB with EEGLAB and need to re-reference to the common average. If I simply apply the re-reference, I will still have 65 channels with 5Z as an active channel. Should I remove the 5Z channel after re-referencing, or is it better to retain it? What would be the best practice in this case?
