Dear EEGLAB and IEEE-EMBS URI Colleagues,

I am reaching out to share an open invitation for research collaboration at
the intersection of biomedical engineering and EEG data science. Both
communities bring unique expertise — EEGLAB with its global contributions
to neural data analysis, and IEEE-EMBS with its broad impact in biomedical
innovation.

My current work focuses on:
- Advanced EEG preprocessing, artifact rejection, and source localization
- Machine learning and deep learning for neural signal interpretation
- Brain–Computer Interface (BCI) frameworks and clinical neuroengineering
- Integration of EEG with multimodal biomedical data (ECG, EMG, imaging)
- Development of reproducible pipelines and open-source computational
tools

I am interested in collaborations around the following themes:
- **Joint Method Development**: Extending EEGLAB plugins, designing robust
pipelines for EEG/biosignal analysis, integrating multimodal data.
- **Applied Research**: Translating EEG analytics into clinical and
rehabilitation engineering applications.
- **AI & Biomedical Informatics**: Leveraging deep learning, graph signal
processing, and multimodal fusion in biomedical signal analysis.
- **Community-Building**: Contributing to open-source projects and
educational initiatives.
- **Publications & Grants**: Co-authoring research papers and proposals for
IEEE EMBS conferences/journals, NIH/NSF funding, and Horizon Europe.

I warmly invite researchers, laboratories, and students who share these
interests to connect and explore opportunities for joint work.

I look forward to hearing from potential collaborators and to advancing EEG
and biomedical engineering research together.

Sincerely,
Netanel Stern
