[Eeglablist] Does edf store channel location info?

Hello everyone,

I'm using a preprocessing pipeline in which I read raw EDf files into
EEGLAB, upload the electrode map (in SFP format), remove noisy channels and
epochs, and then save the modified EDf file. I'm wondering if the electrode
map information/channel locations are saved, or if I need to upload them
again when I reopen the cleaned, modified EDF files?
