The University of Richmond is accepting applications for the position of Cognitive Science Lab Manager. Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field and prior research experience.
This is a full-time continuing position with no fixed end date, making it an excellent opportunity either for individuals seeking research experience before applying to graduate school or for those interested in a long-term research-focused career in an academic setting.
The Lab Manager will be part of the interdisciplinary program in Cognitive Science<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://cognitivescience.richmond.edu/__;!!Mih3wA!H6y9Hn64SwJ87ARHmp_MulWzsqewF3iLE_KJpSmEQg15ZGbmCo51owuJuwTtsoDrVYDz2pabhr-PBkXBuhCV8ds25A$ > and will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for teaching and research laboratories across the program. Primary duties will include overseeing IRB approvals/renewals, ordering and maintaining supplies, training undergraduate students on research-related tasks, and assisting with all aspects of participant recruitment, scheduling, experiment programming, data collection, and data analysis. The Lab Manager will also assist the program coordinator in supporting cohesion and growth of the interdisciplinary program in Cognitive Science.
