Dear EEGLAB community,
We are recruiting two full-time postdoctoral researchers for complementary EEG projects at the Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.
1.
EEG and exercise neuroscience
The project examines how physical exercise influences brain activity, cognitive performance, and emotional functioning. It combines EEG and psychophysiology with cognitive and emotional tasks, exercise testing, and training interventions.
The position is particularly suited to researchers with experience in EEG, psychophysiology, cognitive or affective neuroscience, biomedical signal analysis, or related quantitative methods.
Expected start: March 2027
Duration: approximately 3.5 years
Application deadline: 29 November 2026

1.
EEG/MEG source connectivity and scientific software development
The project focuses on the standardisation and validation of source-based directional connectivity analysis for EEG and MEG data, as implemented in the open-source Atlantis Source Connectivity Toolbox (ASCT). The work will involve multiverse simulations, reanalysis of cognitive-control datasets, methodological validation, and further software development.
The position is particularly suited to researchers with a strong quantitative or computational background and experience in EEG/MEG signal processing, source analysis, connectivity methods, simulations, MATLAB, or scientific software development.
