Hello,

I’m sharing a non-commercial research beta for checking neurodata
releases locally before publication:

NeuroData Release Security Audit looks for privacy-relevant metadata,
identifying fields, release-structure problems, broken references, and
files that could not be inspected. It supports EEGLAB .set files as
well as BIDS, FIF, EDF/BDF, BrainVision, MATLAB, NIfTI, DICOM,
spreadsheets, documents, and archives.

The dataset stays on the researcher’s computer and is not uploaded or
modified. This is not an advertisement, commercial service, or
certification tool; it is an open research beta intended to support
human review before data sharing.

If you work with EEG data, I would be grateful if you could try it on
a dataset you are authorised to use and let me know whether
installation and scanning worked, whether the report was
understandable, and what checks or formats were missing. Please send
feedback only—do not send the dataset or an unreviewed report.
